I have an idea for an amendment. Require social media checks for anyone who wants to be hired as a law enforcement officer, too. After all, if merely owning a gun justifies intense background scrutiny, then obviously such scrutiny should also be applied to someone who will not only own a gun, but actually be allowed to carry it around and legally shoot people. Someone contact the Republicans in the legislature and get this moving!
