This position is located in the Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration (DDR) Section of the Office of Rule of Law and Security Institutions (OROLSI), within the Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO) in New York. New York is classified as a hardship "H" duty station and family duty station. The incumbent reports to and is under the overall supervision of the DDR Section Chief.
For this post advertised, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of French is desirable.

I don't think this is a solider position but rather a bureaucratic one. It'll be a Soros funded desk jockey using law to disarm you.

Had I seen the job description of "loot, plunder and rape" I would have immediately recognized it as such.
The UN does not have an Army so they do not have Soldiers. They get their “forces” from member countries that volunteer them to don the UN Beret and the Patch. I was assigned to Taskforce Able Sentry and had to wear the Beret and Patch even though, I was never issued a UN Forces ID Card.
