This is a 120 year old dry goods table. It was in the Natural Bridge General store in the year 1900. It was stored in a barn for 60 years before my neighbor’s daughter gave it to me after her Mother died. I refinished it in 2004 and used it in our Bakery for a year before it went back into storage for another 15 years. Now it is the feature piece for my living room in NC. Years ago, like probably 15 years ago, I found this .50 BMG bullet in the parking lot of a place called "Moby Dick's" out on Cape Cod. Their parking lot was made up of crushed shells likey dredged from the area. It was just sitting there. It has been fired, the grooves are clearly visable and it had obviously been under water for some time. There was a target ship in Cape Cod bay that the military used to use for training. I'm guessing its from that.

I remember when you could see the target ship at low tide. I'm not
sure if it's still visible.

I used to have a lot of those. Not sure if I still do. We went to Myrtle Beach one year shortly after a hurricane. They were laying all over the beach.

I'm glad you feel that way, as that's how I felt and feel about it. It's like, what are the odds of finding something like that in a parking lot of a seafood restaurant? It's just cool. Little things that end up making your day.
