OP the used gun market is crazy these days. With the COVID variant scares the CDC and administration is pushing it is probably not going to get better anytime soon. If you want to an estimate on prices check the sold gun prices on Gunbroker. That will give you a good approximate starting asking price. If you list them on this site you must include an asking price in the post.

You most likely will get the most money by listing it on gun broker.

Let's not forget that Saigas are also bringing in coin because they are banned from import so the ones we have in the country are all we are ever going to have in the country..

(Obama banned Saiga import in July 2014, which only left Vepr imports as our only Russian made AKM to be imported into the country from then on...... until Trump banned Vepr imports in 2017)

How many AK platforms out there out of the box are compliant in all 50 states? That is why these go for some much money. Tons of Ak47's out there but not many sporter AK's. I do not think with Biden in office these will go down in price. I usually see them average on GB for around $1400. If you want something that shoots the 7.62x39 and NY legal, look for the Ruger Mini-30.

Holy price hike Batman!!! I think I paid sub $500 for mine 5 or 6 years ago, but then it went through a slight transformation. I'm not sure what it would be worth today! It is yet another of my "Texas Toys". My son has more fun with it than I!

People in 47 states DGAF what's compliant in the other 3.

I'm not sure how much being compliant is actually worth nationally.

Exactly, they are rare because they made a very small amount of them and only a handful of states you cannot own a normal AK47. This is why they are more expensive than a normal AK47. Their is a huge demand for these rifles in these states.
