If you research the Bible verse it is about defending and destroying people to attack Jews and that is what could be said we are doing. He never meant to quote the Bible verse as an equation is a word-for-word representation of something.

That was my kind of point, but it’s not a pulp fiction quote either. It’s not a Bible quote or any scripture in the Bible nor scripture from Pulp Fiction. The bible references talks about the Lord taking care of people or killing those against Israel. Pete isn’t the lord and what he said is not a Bible quote. He used it to justify our actions and the rescue of the pilots. I believe he even mentioned the pilots.
The only quote form the bible or close to it is Ezekiel 25:17.

What Pete is saying here is that our actions and the actions of the pilots are justified by the scripture mentioned. You can argue that if you want and there are valid arguments for and against it.
