I dough out will not like it, so be carful. If you go cheap and like it, buying twice will get real expensive.
If unsure try to fine someone with a pistol with a dot and try theirs out. Your welcome to try mine its a G34.
I think a 350 dollar pistol with a dot is a good option for the marketplace. The dot has a 3 year warranty, not too bad. No its not a Glock with a rmr, but its not $1000 either.
Good way to break into the dot thing if unsure, or even a backup pistol.
As I mentioned it is not easy to get to the rifle range this time of year, and seeing targets like that gives me a little less motivation. I have only shot rife twice in the last year so my skills are not the sharpest. Also, my rifle is a cheap $400 Savage package deal with an upgraded scope...
Just a quick thought. When testing the reliability of any pistol you should always shoot it the way you plan to carry it. So, a plus one loading in very important imo.
I have not gotten a kit for my lcp custom because when I searched the net I found some guys did have trouble with them. I am not willing to commit to shoot it enough rounds to feel comfortable with it. For me to be confident it would require about 500 rounds, not a magic number by any means...
When I installed an Overwatch trigger it removed a lot of pre and over travel. I would only use that to a range only deal, I that the pre and over travel before on a different pistol and occasionally a screw would come out of adjustment and the trigger would not reset.
