So, someone who should have been locked up long ago for egregious motor vehicle offenses, finally kills someone with their car. NY solution: Propose a law that limits the speed on cars driven by people that should be locked up for egregious motor vehicle offenses. Derp!
Keep your eye on the news: NewsMax announced today that they have obtained an internal memo from the NY Corrections Department indicating that there will be a large release of non-violent-offense inmates that have less than 110 days left on their sentence. I wonder why? :idk:
So, revoking their DL will keep them from driving? How many news article have you read about people being ticketed multiple times for driving on a revoked DL? These people don't give a frick; they will never be put in jail, in NY, for driving on a suspended/revoked license. They know this, so...
Monroe County Sheriff's called CBP yesterday when they stopped somebody with contradicting foreign ID. Yay for them!
Fuck you, RPD chief and your POS mayor.

So.......
'Rogue" (my word) RPD officers help Border Patrol and Homeland Security during a traffic stop. RPD supervisor on scene canceled the response but patriotic RPD officers showed up anyway and assisted.
Now, the chief, the mayor, and a bunch of uppity citizens want to see heads roll...
Progressive Federal judges are going to put a halt to all this MAGA stuff, it'll be tied up in the courts until after 2026, the current administration will lose the super-majority, and it'll all be back to business as usual. Ah...the good old days.
Also, neither PA or IL have a "duty to inform" requirement.
This is exactly why we need national reciprocity (at worse) or better yet, Constitutional Carry. Hey Orangeman, we have the supermajority, get this done!
It appears you're fine carrying a loaded pistol in your vehicle through both states, no need to separate ammo and gun, lock gun in box, etc. IL does require that it's locked in a box if you leave the vehicle unattended.
I would suggest dropping a couple of dollars on the CCW app for your phone...
True, but you can flip those 2 terms into a pretty lucrative gig working as a lobbyist after your time is up, so there should be at least a five year moratorium on working for a lobbying firm post-service.
and....guns aren't illegal, per se, just illegally possessed. Meh, to-may-toe, to-mah-toe, right? Besides, they catch the thugs with the guns, confiscate the guns, and put the scum right back on the street within hours with nothing more than an appearance ticket. Rinse, repeat. Time for the...
I believe serving as a politician should be voluntary, with basic health insurance and a stipend for room and board. And it shouldn't be a full time job, just a few months twice a year to assemble and get business done. All these scumbags say they want to "serve the people"....well if that's...
What the hell is wrong with the people running your state? Seriously.
"Both suspects were charged with robbery and grand larceny and both were issued appearance tickets for Greece Town Court."

I would assume that only DL or state-issued ID showing residence would be acceptable to these assholes? Yes, I agree 100% that a CCW is valid ID but it does not prove residence since, as you point out, one can obtain a non-resident CCW.
"termination of employment notices will begin Sunday"
followed by:
"contempt charges, including fines and imprisonment, against those that continue to participate in this illegal strike"
Huh?
Yeah...anybody that believes any incriminating evidence still exists are simply deluding themselves. We've a better chance of finding out how many licks it takes to get of the center of a tootsie pop.
Cunt:
"State police have begun serving judicial orders to the striking corrections officers, according to the Times Union. These orders threaten arrest if the officers do not appear in court this week and return to work."...
Absolutely, but had the offenders been arrested (instead of un-alived), they would have gone to jail and stayed in jail until someone paid a hefty bail or they went to trial. They definitely would not have been given an appearance ticket and released within hours, only to be arrested and...
