    Shot this 8pt this morning. Came in ridiculously close at 25'-30' following a doe. Ran about 50' and dropped from a double lung hit. Used the 3006 w/ a 150gr bullet.

    Buy the lower from the ffl (transfer as other), put it on your amendment app, OC wants the caliber listed. Get green card. Pick up lower. Fix mag on lower....then build away.

    Anyone dabble in gun restoration/refinishing?

    Refinished and deep cleaned this '54 Remington 512 a few years back. No sanding...just citrus stripper and a BLO finish.
