Once you submit your "Official" target, it's your counted entry for the month. The incentive to submit earlier is that in case of a tie, the earlier entry wins. Up to you if you want to wait and see if you shoot a better score.
Thanks guys. It seems it's hard to beat the compact for versatility, especially considering I almost get the exact same grip as on the standard size when using the pinky extension.
I'm planning on getting an FNS as the next pistol, but I'm not sure which size to pick yet.
It's available in the standard 4" bbl "duty" size, the 3.6" bbl compact size, and the 5" bbl longslide size.
I'm not looking for it to fit any specific role right now, just for fun, but obviously each...
From what I can find it looks like a fixed mag B&T ACP or H&K UMP would be possible.
And also fixed mag PPSH 41's and UZI's seem a bit iffy but may work.
EDIT: Although the PPSH probably doesn't meet length requirements?
This thread has got me thinking, what other fixed mag sub gun "pistols" are usable?
Beretta CX4 Storm?
CZ Scorpion Evo?
Kel-Tec Sub-2000?
B&T ACP-9?
B&T P26?
B&T MP9?
Any legacy designs?
.308 obviously gives the best terminal and barrier performance, but I've heard it's pretty bad for sound and shockwave at 16".
7.62x39 is known to be a good round for defeating barriers and should be very effective with modern bullets, but compared to modern, heavier grain 5.56 I'm not sure...
Not trying to blow my own horn or anything, but speaking objectively I feel like I'm out-shooting my AR platform and it's annoying me. Not surprising though since this was a budget build, but hopefully soon I'll have money to put into a nice bolt action and scope. Then I'll be able to see what I...

Not my best but still respectable. I tried the pistol one and didn't do too hot with that, lol.
Fun as always!
Only 2 more upgrades to go: Wilson Combat ultra thin grips and WC FO front + black rear sights. Just don't know which color to make the front, red or green?
Cheap ammo gets me about 2-3", 5 shot groups at 100 yds. With better ammo I can get about 1.5-2" groups, but I was able to find one factory load that I can get consistent 1" groups. Seems very good to me considering the price I paid.
Check out Hardened Arms too. I went with them for my budget upper, and I'm quite satisfied with it. It is definitely better quality than my friend's PSA upper.
Congrats guys! I hope you both like your picks.
The only negative for picking up multiple pistols is that the FBI gets to file an additional document about you for the purposes trying to catch gun traffickers. Not a problem unless stuff like that bothers you.
My friend has an XD mod.2 longslide I've shot a bunch. I like the ergonomics and that the front sight fiber optic comes standard. What I don't love is: the grip safety, that I find it flippy-er than other designs (higher bore axis), and that I've watched my friend have a bunch of malfunctions...
