My " neighbor" ordered some 9mm reloading projectiles from BassPro yesterday. He got a notification that they shipped.
X-Treme 124 gr HP , boxes of 500 .
He usually gets supplies from Runnings but they are cleaned out.
Ra-Lin and Intimidator Sports in Syracuse usually had stuff but have...
Heard on the news tha California will accept and count ballots that arrive up to 17(?) days after the election. What could possibly go wrong??
Not sure if it was local, state or national elections.
Here are some pics from Runnings in Clay ( Syracuse) from 29 june of this year. I hasn't improved. Actually, reviewing these pix, there is less on hand yesterday.
They did have a few bricks of .22 , twentyish boxes of 357 , a few 44, 32 and 1 box of non shotgun/ black powder primers on 03...
Runnings of Clay ( Syracuse) has bricks of Armscor .22 in stock as of 10:30 Monday 03 Aug for $25ish.
A few boxes of 50 rds .22 , 20 or so boxes of 357 . Some 44 , .32 , . 40 I think. NO 9mm or 5.56/223 .
I was going to buy a box of Berry's 9mm pills, --- all gone. They had a couple last Monday.
Ya gotta love his lack of reasoning.
The firearm discharged but:
"One person got hit in the leg, one dude got hit right here in the shoulder, the other girl got hit in the arm," Johnson said. "That's it. Nobody got shot."
Forgive me. but I always thought that if a firearm was discharged and...
The tanks are fine.
We've been using them in paintball for years. I have some 4500 psi tanks that are 15 years old and no longer usable due to DOT regulations .
I have/ had some 3000 psi ones that are older. I think one was made in 1999.
The lifespan of fiber wrapped tanks is 15 yrs with a...
Europeans have enjoyed these for years. There were a few magazines ( paper kind) that were dedicated to this topic.
They are powerful and accurate and deadly.
My buddy has a Benjamin Marauder ( $600 ish)
The downfall is getting air fills. He charges off of a SCUBA tank and then has to deal with...
Too many of the same letters for a product of the public school system to sort out. :)
The VCAS ( Vickers Combat Application Sling) by Blue Force Gear is the one I had.
Thank you for correcting me. I dislike providing incorrect informstion.
Do they make a non threaded barrel version now?
Was looking at them when they first came out but all were threaded.
I got a Henry instead but a 10/22 would still be nice to have.
I use the extended / oversized take down pins.
They have a head that you can grasp to pull them out. Some have a ring on them to pull.
These are on Ebay for $8 shipped.

I use ones that I make myself based on a Way of the Gun sling.
Quickly adjustable, Light , minimilst, 1" mil spec webbing,
I had a Blue Force VCAS one. Did not like the heavy webbing that they used and the bulkiness...
I would think that in a few weeks $0.65 / rd might be a bargain.
The ammo prices on Armslist and Arfcom are a bit ridiculous , but a lot of it is being bought.
A LGS south of Watertown posted that they have 9mm, 5.56/.223 , 380, .22 on hand.
They said ammo is very difficult to get and prices for some calibers is ridiculous though.
Caliber Plus on Mannsville
I recalibrated the scale using the brass standard that came with it. Looks better now at 3/4 full.
I didnt want a compressed load.
It's interesting that the manufacturer says to use 6gr and the Lee book says 5.1 to 5.5
I asked about loading to the max charge for general purpose ammo both 9mm...
115 gr FMJ bulets.
Aliant does not list a min / max charge just a charge of 6 grains
I'll weigh a handfull of bullets to determine if they read approx 115 gr. Its a digital Lyman scale.
I'm in process of reloading 9mm . i've only loaded 40 or so rounds in the past as test loads.
I'm using Unique and Montana Gold bullets. Using the load data from Alliant, max charge is 6 grains. 5 grains fills the case to the brim.
I have not tried tapping the case to get it to settle /...
That was everything they had on the shelf. We didn't ask if there was more "out back".
They did have 1000ish round cases of .22 for $60 or $70 . Hunting ammo, a couple of boxes of 40 and 44 carry ammo.
Here's a thread from Calguns.net about transferring between family members:
It says a CA FFL is needed to receive the firearm.

A couple of years ago I sold a shotgun out of state. Sent it via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box to buyer's FFL.
Do you need to ship to a FFL? Have your son check with local dealer on the laws there.
That being said, if you send a rifle to the factory for repair, they return ship it to your...
I run the Ruger mags on mine. I bought a Ruger SR9 to go with it as I did not like the Glocks.
I also modified a Sprinfield magazine to work in the PCC.
Just be aware that the ban states PCC comes with a SR9c / SR40c Compact 10 round mag that does not fit the full sized pistol.
Their videos are fun and quirky. They have locals from the Bloomington Indiana area participate in them. Some are literally side show freaks ( Blue Monkey Sideshow) . A friend of mine from Indiana made me aware of the band. They'll never be Queen or the like but they're fun to watch and their...
Was at the Watertown Walmart and figured that I'd get a bulk box of the cheap(ish) 12ga shells.
They did not have any on the shelf but did have one box hiding on a top shelf. There was a bunch of 20ga , both Federal & Winchester.
They had a few 100 rd boxes of Remington Nitro 7 1/2 shot as...
Same thing on Armslist. Most are selling ammo at high prices.
People are asking ,75 / round for Tula steel case 223.
I was at Walmart in Watertown and figured I'd get a bulk box of 12ga.. the cheap(ish) Winchester / Federal stuff for $22 / 100.
They had but one box on the top shelf. They had...
