It’s more complicated than that. An initial arrest made improperly can ruin and entire prosecution. Simpletons think it’s because they are trying to protect him. There’s nothing we can do to change simpletons.
As was just pointed out, if you arrest him immediately without the actual legal...
Lots of cops made lots of OT in Manhattan yesterday for no reason. Everyone is talking about it this morning. We didn’t get any overtime at all in regards to this pandemic, but it’s coming now.
I’m wearing a Blue Line T-shirt today and will proudly as long as dumbasses keep perpetuating the idea that every cop is affiliated with every bad cop. But I’m sure there’s cops out there who are weak minded enough to continuing cucking themselves to your mindset.
Not looking good for the city from what I am hearing. Will likely be some burning buildings and hurt cops today. Like this has anything to do with us at all.
I dont know if that’s how I’d describe it because it think it comes more from the fact that it’s tougher to grip perfectly due to it’s size. I don’t have big hands. It’s definitely NOT a gun for anyone with hands even slightly larger than mine.
I love my 365. It’s all I carry now. It “jumps” a little due to it being thinner and lighter, but I find it to be far more accurate. I actually caught a ricochet of steel on Monday while shooting it. It felt like I got hit with a hammer in the arm. It was bad. But that’s besides the point. I’ll...
There is a single protestor in front of my precinct right now holding a piece of paper that says “RIP George Floyd” on it. I’d post the pic but it makes pretty obvious where I work so...
He'll be charged with a crime. As has been said a million times over, there are a lot of legal reasons why deaths don't immediately result in arrests on the spot, especially police-involved incidents which may involve legal justifications. This one very likely does not fit that mold, but that...
Don’t be so sure. This guy fully deserves what is happening (not his family though), but the way things are now you could easily find yourself in a similar situation for lawful police work should the wrong people paint your incident the wrong way.
This is why actively policing is stupid now...
Yup, exactly what happened here already. We stopped policing about 2 years ago. Some traffic stops, a bunch of dumb videos and feel good events, and a lot of taking reports. It was a huge breath of fresh air for any cop smart enough to take advantage of it. The ones who don’t are doing it to...
That’s why you won’t see anyone supporting this guy except old retired fucks who acted like that on a regular basis and got away with it, creating this whole idea to begin with.
Any position that uses force against people to effect actions will face animosity and create situations where...
Well supposedly once the logarithm takes over, its no longer you that’s obsessed. It’s the computer. You’re forced to watch what it shows you.
Ask Marine to explain further or just give me a few weeks. I’ve been watching 5th Edition D&D videos non-stop, so soon my logarithm will take over too.
This is what we are now. “Look at me!” Unfortunately the idiot cop gave him his moment. Gotta know how to talk man. I’ve told plenty a skell like him to move along and look for someone else to give them their youtube stardom (in my manhattan days).
You just wrote that the vast majority of law enforcement officers have been wrong and got off with no punishment.
Your mind is made up. Go through my past comments on other threads. I don’t genuflect to change minds like too many nancy cops do nowadays.
When someone is wrong, they are wrong...
Terrible precedent to set because the vast majority of the public is stupid and the vast majority of police encounters that involve force are fully lawful and justified. We don’t need a situation where every police encounter is made worse because of a) perps who feel emboldened or b) a populace...
He certainly didn’t use the move as trained and possibly in unwarranted circumstances.
Danny Pantaleo uses an approved move as trained and let go after something like 6 seconds, yet he was still fired and nearly charged as well.
Like I said before, I just don’t get aggressive policing anymore...
Regardless of whether he deserved it or not (because I am still someone who policed when were were allowed to use force), nowadays I can’t really sympathize with anyone who uses anything besides the absolute minimum force when no weapons are involved. They’re nuts. Whether they are right or...
Those “Karen” calls aren’t as common as they’re made out to be. Most 911 transcripts that turn out to be false or misconstrued do read initially as crimes. Dispatchers do inform cops when a “Karen” incident is suspected. At least where I am. But yeah, they still have to send cops.
The first part I agree with, I've said it here many times. The amount of training we could conduct would be amazing. That's why firehouses with good bosses are full of firemen who are professional and know their jobs as good as brain surgeons.
The second part is impossible and places way too...
There’s nothing about speeding that justifies a legal search, searches don’t happen due to speeding alone, and lastly, you know this.
Any search conducted using the justification “I observed the defendant traveling 1 mph over the speed limit” would be suppressed so fast a second speeding ticket...
For anyone who agrees when told that cops hate cameras, look who wants to take them away. If these assholes get their way, I’m buying another unauthorized one ASAP even if I rarely police any more. I’ll never interact with a citizen on duty again without a camera. No shot...
Sucks for upstate I guess because this (if true), couldn't be further from what's happening down here. We're not doing jack. They even had to hand-pick special details to enforce social distancing crap because the vast majority of cops were just playing the stupid recording as they drove by.
We...
Gotta know how to hold your temper and speak down to them at the same time. It’s an art. When I started cops told you that your mouth mattered a lot more than your baton. Now it’s “you’re wrong no matter what, hide!” So they never learn.
Cops or not, you just have a shit attitude. I’d never police with this mindset or deal with people in real life just in general from the point of view of “too bad you deserve it”.
I'm sorry but I see nothing but more assumptions.
You started with an assumption in the other thread and now just backed up your assumption with a clarified assumption in this thread. You may very well be correct, but my point on the other hand has not changed: right or wrong, these cuck videos...
Oh shit you commented already. Lol
I didn’t read down.
See you point out a great concept that used to be trained. If you want to lecture, lecture, but don’t take action. If you’re taking action, no lecture.
Problem with this guy is he mixed the two. Can’t do that. Either write the summons...
The issue is you go off on anti-cop rants when none are warranted. You can’t see that because you have an obsession. That poor genuflecting cuck failed in his suck up mission miserably when even after all the wonderfully pro-constitution statements he made, you still excoriated him for your...
I quit awhile ago. Like a year now almost.
But this thread was too good because you proved a point I’ve been making about these videos. Stupid pointless genuflecting. The guy in the OP video is a cuck.
I wouldn’t for a single second reflect on my faults when arresting an armed burglar. No cop in any way is wrong for charging that person as high and hard as possible.
