I use optimum nutrition, not sure it really matters too much though. ON is decently priced and ranks well in tests. I use their whey protein as well. I take one scoop a day. You get mixed opinions on loading the first week or not. I personally didn't load the first week.

They are ok but not my favorite. I like fishing for them because they usually are in nice areas and they fight like hell. The ones I had from ponds taste like complete shit but the ones I have caught from streams were not bad. That said I'll take walleye over trout anyday.

Run the tail end through the loop twice, that will usually keep the rope in place. I don't have this issue with my HSS rope but I do with my homemade one that uses a stiffer material.
