I have a Stack On in my basement and a Gun Vault in my bedroom closet.
I have had zero problems with either in the 2 years I've owned them. I change out the batteries every 1 Jan, like a smoke detector. Personally I prefer the electronic lock, which for the Stack on came with an "oh shit" key.
