I did try my buddy’s Springfield xd something in 45 last year and it did feel a little weird in my hand after shooting glocks.

What I read about glocks grip angle kept me away from glocks for years. My buddy always uses grip angle for a reason for not getting a glock. He sure can shoot my glock good. I didn’t really have a lot of experience with pistols so I didn’t have a preference on grip angle.

I think you will find a lemon with all brands. I have 4000+ rounds through my g17 gen 5 with absolutely 0 issues.

Have you called a ny ffl to do a transfer? They are technically closed but may still do it.

I’m not 100% on dbm, but I think the stock would need to be opened up to fit one. Benefit of a blind mag is it’s cheaper and you don’t have to worry about losing the magazine. Mags can get expensive

I have a couple Remington sps varmint and they have all shot great. My biggest gripe with Remington is there coating. Get old school n them before they rust. Do you like that particular chassis or do you just you want a chassis?

With a Remington, you will have the full support of aftermarket manufacturers. I don’t have any experience with seekin rifles or the bergara, i did hold a bergara once. eurooptics still have their sale going on the Sako trg 22 and 42. But they r over your $2000 budget.

I assembled a lower, it wasn’t too bad. I just took my time. I bought a complete upper.

I never been asked at the clay store but I haven’t bought ammo there since last year. I won’t be happy if they have that permit policy.
