Sound good. My experience eating goose hasn’t been the greatest lol. I don’t own chest waders, after buy the shotgun and other stuff, it may be a little bit for I can get them. I am definitely interest in going but it might be next season
When I tagged alone, I kept what I shot lol. That is weird if they didn’t share. Do u think it’s worth getting my duck stamp this far into the season? Technically I don’t have my Versa max yet......my wife said I have to wrap it up till Christmas lol. I wouldn’t mind heading your way for some...
Pheasant hunts are cheaper, but u need to try your hunting partner. The goose hunt is safer I think. Everyone is sitting in their layout blind and shoot geese in front.
Pretty sure my wife wants to hunt it lol. I would want to do the spring snow goose hunt, more shooting. Plus it gives me time to save up. I have two boys, I just can’t afford to bring everyone. If we did do the hunt, we could hunt half or most the day and hang out at the motel or lake house...
Local farmer/friend want me to take some geese out. He said he had 100 in his front yard....I’m in a two bird limit area also. Told him I could hunt all November lol. I hunted on water twice....it was tough walking through the slop. I am thinking about trying a guide for snow geese in the...
Anyone into waterfowl hunting? I used to field hunt geese years ago, I was more of a tag along. I don’t have much knowledge about hunting geese. So I am looking to get back into waterfowling. I figure I can take my younger son with me, I bet he will be excited about going. Picked up a Remington...
That’s my experience as well. I did a predator hunting shoot and the one member set it up and was responsible for the event. We all had to pay to get it, it was $5 per person.

I thought I heard you just pay $5 too shoot there. Maybe we could reserve a day if we talk to the owner.
I could take awhile if we have too many events. I went to a range event twice for a predator hunting forum. It was fun. I think we did three events. Groups at 200 yard, golf ball shoot and shooting two targets at close range that was timed and scored.
I haven’t been to any training. I do shoot gssf twice a year....I am learning pistol skills as I go. It would be fun looking and holding other people firearms, checking out different optics.
If the range has a clay range, that could be another competition
I would be down with a meet and greet range day. Dsdmmat might be able to get us a range but the range is northern ny. It would be fun doing the monthly challenge, could make it interesting and have a fee to do it. Nothing crazy, $1 or 2 entry fee with 100% payout. The range would have to be...
I don’t think Oswego is as bad as Fulton but I normally stay on the main roads. Driving through Fulton is depressing, a lot of run down houses. My wife teaches in Fulton, we buy food for her student.
I thought about getting my ffl and opening a small gun shop there but I don’t think I would make enough money to live on. Plus I would have a lot of overhead.
I wish kerfiens was still open, be nice to walk down there with the family and grab a ice cream.
Pat lived there last winter, I think he plans on doing that again this winter. I’d think it was be a good gun store location. I heard the old kerfien property is becoming a union hall for the nuke plant.
