Ok not an update I expected to give Oneida called yesterday and told me they issued the wrong permit and they had already withdrawn it they are now speaking to the judge to decide the type of permit I will get , but it will NOT be unrestricted I now need to wait and find out - totally crazy

Just wanted to post an update to this and thank everyone for their help As earlier confirmed, Westchester wanted to remove my NYS permit immediately i moved So, here is what i did; Transferred my permit file from Westchester to Oneida County ($5) Then today I had the appointment at Utica...

There is no requirements shown on the application form to state they need to be Westchester residents................i do think they would need to at least be US based though!!

Just off the phone to Oneida - they are good! So long as I have a physical address (property that i own) in NYS, they will keep mu license in NYS valid I just need to submit some paperwork to them each year from CT to show i have no criminal convictions in CT - i can live with that
