Lebanon county in PA has 0 precincts reporting. If Trump can keep PA super close then he will take the state when that county reports, as Romney win it by a decent margin in 2012. Phily and Pittsburgh are both 98% in.
PA is still very much in play. Most of the Phily vote is in (93% of precincts) as well as Pittsburgh (Allegheny county, 91% of precincts). She may still take it, but it will be much closer than the 1.7% lead she has as of now. (PA is 78% precincts in in total as of now.)
Broward county, FL is now 48% of precincts reported, Trumps is still up 140,000 votes. Clinton has 473k to 211k in Broward so far. Miami Dade is 93% in. I think Trump just might take this one.
Although the presidential election is important, we should also be watching the Senate. Holding the senate is of utmost importance as they confirm supreme court nominations. If the D's take or tie in the senate, and take the presidency, they can invoke the nuclear option to get supreme court...
An hour ago, I thought that Florida was Hilda'beasts due to the fact that most of the pan handle was in but Broward and others around Miami aren't. That is still true, but his lead has stayed over 100K with 85% of the precincts reporting. Now the conspiracy kind of person would say they are...
My father served in WWII in the Army Air Force on a B-24 bomber, the ones that primarily flew to the Ploesti oil fields from Italy. It was only later in life where he would talk much about it, and when I learned just how bad it was in terms of losses. (On one occasion their plane was so badly...
This one is truly a wild ride. I'm not even sure we can put much trust into exit pooling which many "news" outlets will use to forecast races as soon as possible. I think there is a definite non-response bias possibility where some of the Trump voters will either not answer the question or...
15,000 at Trump rally at the Pittsburgh, PA airport tonight, and there were people who couldn't get in. Hillary was in Pittsburgh a couple days ago (Friday) at Heinz field and even with a couple ex-Steelers and Billionare Mark Cuban in tow could only manage to get about 2,000 people.
Earlier...
Ha, that's funny. That's like a friend of mine who voted for Trump over Cruz in the NY primary using that rationale. As I tried to explain at the time, there would have to be video of Hillary eating scrambled fetus eggs for breakfast, and even then she would carry NY.
People are so screwed up and in love with their candidate (in this case Hillary) that I doubt even that would cause them to change their vote. Hopefully this will be enough for those on the margin that she doesn't win....but I'm not holding my breath. If we are lucky, this will cause enough...
You are of course assuming that the law is being followed. While that may be true today, I wonder just how many think that will be true 1, 5, 10, 20 years from now.
I'm not a big Paul Ryan fan, but I've got a sister-in-law that is as left wing as they come. That doesn't make me "one of them". Just saying.
We've got plenty of real things to deal with, this one is quite a stretch.
It is really? Is it really? Is it really? .... :)
For me, I think I'm done buying. Need some time just to organize everything! Might visit some local stores for odds and ends.
Forgot to mention. Things do seem to be backing up. For my most recent order, I got an email from the vendor stating that due to a high volume of incoming orders, they are backed up a couple of days. The same vendor did not have that message on a previous order just a week ago.
Yep, I posted that a few days ago when the number was around 240 left. So, OP, you can essentially get all you want for $57 plus shipping to your FFL.
If you want one, primary arms has a closed ear Anderson for $49.99 (plus shipping), limit one...
I feel sorry for you poor bastards that live near NYC, it makes the bug out much harder to do. For those of us up in the north land, our bigger concern is keeping the marauders out.
One other comment. It is really important to actually have practical knowledge on using any toys you buy to...
While the life straw is ok, I prefer the Sawyer Mini. Use mine quite frequently while hiking, it is light weight (very important), works well and can be flished in the field if needed (requires some "good" water when doing the flush)...
They've been flying off the shelves. Not a super deal, but fairly reasonable: here's an Anderson lower for $57 plus shipping (so buy a few): Anderson Stripped Lower 7075-T6 MULTI CAL : AR15 Parts at GunBroker.com.
There is no NY State law against selling powder, primer, or bullets. Why don't you make a pleasure trip to see bullet guy in Tillson (just south of Rosendale, you would get off the New Paltz thruway exit).
There is also no law against buying powder, primers and bullets and having them...
Glenn, thanks for the post. I hope I'm not coming off as some rich bas*ard with more money than sense. Yes, I have money but that is because I've been a saver and investor all of my life, and have always striven to live below my means. Before retiring, I managed to be in a quite a bit...
I was at a Dicks Sporting Goods last night. Things were pretty busy for a Friday evening, especially at the gun counter.
I know I've had more 4473's run on me this year than ever in my life.
If they were competitive with online prices, sure. Actually I did pick up some 22LR at Dick's for under 6 cents per round along with a couple flats of Gun Club's @ 5.48/box. Don't need either, but what the hey. I looked at .223/5.56 but it was around .45-.50 per round vs. .33-.40 online.
Actually, that is an excellent idea. The republicans with a spine should suggest this. That way the FOID card can't be shared or copied. Instead "a permanent marking on the individuals body with a unique government issued identification marker that can be scanned at the point of purchase"...
