If you already have something in .45acp covert it to 460 Rowland. For light weight the Glock 30 or m&p would be ideal and you have substantially more punch than a 10mm or a .357 mag. I’m looking into converting a 1911 for hunting.

Best training I got was idpa honestly. Not perfect but better than anything else I have used so far.
