Last night I decided to compare slow fire to rapid fire with my G34 with a dot at 10 yards. Not a great test because I started the night with slow fire and the first mag was pretty poor with 3 "flyers". Each target had 3 mags of 10 fired at them. With the rapid fire I was warmed up from the...
Fired one mag out of it last night with the sights now centered and group it very tight. Of the 4 different shooters who shot it the groups were impressive for all of us. That said I do not like this pistol much in the hand but can not believe how well I shoot it, weird.
I was able to...
The pistol is now over 1000 rounds and no issues of any kind. I did not fire it again but the way it feels in my hand and how naturally it points is something special for me. Maybe having a smaller hand it is the perfect fit?
I did not post a thread up when I went through this but know if I had and if someone recommended to me to clean and lube real good, I would have told them to go F themselves.
Ok then now we are on to something. I tried everything, ammo, recoil springs, connectors, grip and nothing worked. Sometimes 2-3 time a mag and other times 3-4 mags with no issue.
You might be quick to nay say this and it made no sence to me with my G34. Take the slide completely apart and...
looking at the pics you posted I think I had the same problem with you G34 that had me chasing my tail for quite awhile. When it happened I could not push the slide forward, the bullet was jammed on the top of the barrel opening. Pulling the slide back would eject the round. Is that similar to...
Try the factory barrel. Maybe you have some severe connector drag. Try dry firing(no mag)and keep the trigger pulled, pull the slide back, point the barrel straight up and ride the slide forward. If it goes into battery your good and if it stays out a bit release the trigger to see if it...
The MOS is nice since you can mount different optics on it.
Or by the regular glock and buy a new slide already milled. Some slides are about the same price as the milling service...
I know its not a new pistol but guess it has not been available with 10 round mags until recently. I only fired 40 rounds through it and nothing comparable the same night. In first handling the pistol I really didnt like it at all. The balance felt off and the trigger had a ton of pre-travel...
Im glad you guys like the review!! I feel very lucky that I have the opportunity to fire a lot of different pistols. I try to give an accurate account because I know it sucks that many times we dont have the opportunity to test fire prior to buying. I dont believe that I am a fanboy of any...
If you didnt look how do you know that they are dumb???? :)
The front of the grip is not a problem and makes no difference in concealment, its the back of the grip that will stick out. So the 43x could print more than a G26. Now having the same grip length as a G19 but thinner it should...
Sometimes data can be collected but conclusions can not be made from it. No 2 shootings are really the same since different people are getting shot in different places. When it comes to handguns the only data conclusion that can be made is shot placement is king.
So, I had a chance to shoot the new Glock and as I mentioned in another thread it gets 2 thumbs up from me. When I first picked the 43x up it hit my hand well as it did for the 2 other guys at the range. I have medium small hands, one guy have large hands and the other has very large hands so...
Not telling....
I did not shoot the p365 last night so not fair to say. When I shot the p365 I was impressed but the 43X was like WOW. The owner of the 365 was carrying it and was not looking to dirty it maybe next time is will be able to shot both back to back. I will try to do so since the...
Lots of variables for sure, but the shorter grip of the 365 might make the difference for some. Not a true apples to apples comparison the 365 is a pocket pistol and the 43x is not. I have not tried a 43x in a holster yet but if the concealment is good I would sure prefer the full grip. Even...
Its tough to tell without direct comparison. I find that the extension in a G26 makes no difference in concealment, its the back of the grip that makes a bigger difference. Of course body type and cloths make a big difference too. Im hope to get to a 43x thread soon still not feeling too...
Here are some pics of the 43x and 365 but Justincase is not allowed to look at them
I think that title of this threat was not so bad after all. Depending on were one like to carry the grip difference would not be as much of an issue. For appendix carry the difference would not matter.
Made it to the range and the 43X gets 2 thumbs up from me. I have pics and a report to give but may not get to it till tomorrow. I will start another thread for the review. On a side note I was able to shoot the M&P compact 2.0 too.
I dont think my friend will have that... I could not sleep a wink last night, was at the door of urgent care before they opened. Gave me a script for a steroid and went home went to sleep and woke up able to walk. I feel off for sure but would not leave to go to the range for 3 hours yet.
Good news the cold is under control, but last night I had a gout flair up. It was so bad I was about to cut my foot off. Just returned from the doctor with meds so hopefully I will be able get some range time in tonight
I might be a little bit of a fudd compared to many around here but something really irked me in the bill was from line 3
"rapidly discharging ammunition have no acceptable purpose" Like the idea of target shooting is not an acceptable purpose. Also after that I did not see anywhere that...
Here is a pic of my overwatch trigger, its the poly one tho. The black marks where the the stock trigger was and red the overwatch. I need to update the thread I started on the changes I mad to my G34. I have tried the trigger spring a few times without any luck, the reset always became too...
I have not kept track but at about 500 rounds my 1911 starts getting funny. I will get failure to go into battery only when chambering the first round, that is when it will get cleaned.
