New bill A-8149, Provides for the posting of firearm signage in certain areas:
“… IN AREAS IN WHICH THE RATE OF GUN VIOLENCE IS ABOVE THE NATIONAL AVERAGE, THE DIVISION SHALL NOTIFY THE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY SERVING SUCH AREA TO POST SIGNAGE IN THE FORM PRESCRIBED BY THE DIVISION …”

A-6762B/S-7196, Relates to the dangers to the safety and health of the public caused by the sale, manufacturing, importing and marketing of firearms and whether such activity constitutes a public nuisance, has been sent to the Governor. He will likely sign it at a closed press event this afternoon.
I would not entirely dispute that, but I believe the driving force was just because there were so many Democrats running for a given office, someone could win with as little as a quarter of the total vote.
Two "ghost guns" bills and manufacturer liability.
The insurance bill has been floating around for a number of years. One of the problems is that nobody will offer policies which cover illegal acts.
I believe NYSFA was incorporated in 2018.
I spoke with Dorr and he said he formed the group because he felt the others were ineffective. He has a strong dislike for one person in particular.
Dorr did say they were going to run web ads targeting electeds last year and followed through targeting two Senators, one from New Paltz the other from Long Island. How effective was this I don't know.
Aaron Dorr isn't from New York. His wife was originally from somewhere in the Rochester area. He and his brothers appear to run a multitude of similar sounding gun groups in other states. I do not believe Aaron Dorr has much understanding of New York politics. He is registered as a paid...
Primary turnout is always low. That is why I have repeatedly said #2A activists need to be involved especially in Democrat politics as that is the only way to knock many incumbents out of office.
I don't have much use for Panasuk, so FWIW

I voted for Tait, but I have realistic expectations. Even he makes on it the BoD they won't give him any committees and he'll just sit there. The most we can get out of this election is someone who can help cast a brighter light on Wayne's and the BoD's failures.
We are at the point where our...
At 3:45 pm today Attorney General Letitia James and Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz will hold a press conference following a gun buyback event with the NYPD, St. Mary Magdalene R.C. Church, 136-20 219th St., Queens.
List of gun control bills which passed in 2021.
A-613A/S-14A, Criminalizes the sale of ghost guns and requires gunsmiths to register and serialize firearms, rifles, shotguns, and unfinished frames or receivers they assemble.
A-2111/S-5952, Provides taxpayer gifts for gun violence research...
They are a total non-factor legislatively and politically in NY and have been for decades and that is entirely by their choice. They do some good with legal affairs and through FNRA.
Doesn't have to be a solid 2A supporter. Being slightly less offensive than another candidate is good enough as along as you are honest about what you're telling people to do. Vote for Joe Dokes because he's less offensive his opponet.
Plus, I've had Manhattan democrats ask about endorsements...
