I told her and my mil I would grow all their veggies for them if they came over to help me here and there or pitched in some funds. Neither one wants to do that but neither one pays any attention. I went to my mil’s the other day and redid her garden again for the 10th time. She wants it but does nothing to it or with it. I looked at her veggies and she took them out of the pots but never planted them. The mound of dirt was sitting on top and dried out. Took care of that too. People are crazy. I harvested more already than they will get all season.

the Campground we work at has a labors' garden. Last week we planted cherry tomato's, Peppers, carrots, squash and watermelon and radishes.

That’s fun. I always thought about being a campground monitor when I retire. I’d like to live in my camper many days through the summers when I retire.

ya, we cut some lettuce out and pulled some more radishes, then we planted more radishes

The watermelon and squash are coming in nicely, Peppers, carrots and onions are doing well

And we are in the Cherry capital of the world. We're going to go pick fresh cherries this afternoon.

I harvested my Garlic yesterday, well most of it anyways. I Still have about a 1/4 of a raised bed to dig up. It grew very well this year.

I’m jealous of you all with your garlic. I can’t grow it. I have tried 3-4 different varieties from different local farms, I bought elephant garlic on line last year and planted that. I follow all the directions planting it about Halloween, 4-6” deep, same distance away, cover with leaves or hay for mulch, fertilize in spring, keep it watered but in a raised grow bag so it’s not soaking wet, I add compost in the fall and mine always sucks. Tops always die off early, no scapes this year and always small bulbs. Some so small they are barely usable. I’m giving up.

I’ve got more garlic this year than I know what to do with. I’ll mince a bunch and store it in olive oil but , damn !

We always try to grow something unique and unusual every year. Last year it was cuckamellons . They pickled well and were a big hit with the family. This year we found and picked lemon cucumbers. So far they are growing like crazy. We’re going to try our first one today.

I’m growing some also but I only have flowers so far

I’m trying watermelons this year. Not odd but not easy to grow around here successfully I had flowers as of last week so I should have baby watermelons by now.
