A grocery chain says it's receiving just 40% of the items it orders from suppliers, and is making its own version of Lunchables because it can't get hold of the real thing
Rouses Markets can't get enough Lunchables - Kraft Heinz's cracker, cheese, and meat snack - so it's created its own version, its CEO told the WSJ.news.yahoo.com
Go Amish!
Liberals not only are good at printing money.. They are good at printing ballots also..Between inflation and this happening, the GOP should have a landslide in the next few elections. (Afghanistan aside even). Literally the only thing they have to do is point at Biden's failed leadership to do anything but print money while the country declines.

These are not normal times folks.. We have shortages in many things. Look at a company that has a large fleet or even a small fleet. Some parts are hard to get... Some trucks are parked for the duration. It slows everything in the supply chain. One can have a warehouse full of products and not enough trucks on the road to fill orders. Everything snowballs... We are dealing with a logistical nightmare .... One industry has production curtailed because another cannot deliver. ... And prices rise...Canadian Preppers vids are great and he doesn’t BS just to create hysteria and drive sales. This is legit. The retailers will find whatever ways they can to dive deeper into our pockets to profit and recover COVID losses.
The things that are currently out of stock/backordered are beyond concerning. I have some orders open for VFD's, PLC's, etc., that were placed weeks ago, and today's update puts most of it out anywhere from mid-Nov to mid-Jan. These parts usually ship in a day or so.
Factories need this stuff to run. Pretty much every factory. I wouldn't be surprised if the government steps in to pick the winners and losers.
Seeing as how the vast majority of parts in our electrical grid were purchased from the cheapest supplier, China, this is absolutely plausible. In fact, Trump signed an executive order banning the further purchase and use of electrical grid parts from a lengthy list of our adversaries. Hopefully, it’s not too late.So I saw an alert on another website from a guy who claims to work for an electric utility company.
You can guess where this is going.....
The "anyonomus insider" stated that his utility company has a remarkably low amount of replacement parts, transformers, etc available on hand right now and that it's EXTREMELY difficult and takes way longer than usual to get replacements. The guy was worried that if they suddenly lost an unusual high amount of transformers there might be widespread power outages measured in weeks or months.
It's very concerning and entirely believable. Think of the entire supply chain. Everything from truck engine water pumps to vehicle semiconductor chips are in short supply so why would we expect electrical transformer equipment to be any different. Just because no one is talking about it doesn't mean it's not a problem.
Anything that is complex and requires multiple parts from multiple manufacturers or cross ocean transit for completion is affected by these supply chain issues. I honestly can't believe more people aren't concerned about this. Quite frankly i find that shocking that no one (besides us fringe paranoid whacko prepper gun clingers) are concerned with. People need to comprehend how F'd the supply chain is right now and in many industries for many different reasons. It's far and away the worst I've seen.
I worry about it but I am a proud a tin hat-wearing nutter,So I saw an alert on another website from a guy who claims to work for an electric utility company.

I am working on a project in Asia, that is waiting on equipment from Australia. Australian company just contacted us to help them source some of the parts they need to finish THEIR equipment or the entire project goes to shit.So I saw an alert on another website from a guy who claims to work for an electric utility company.

The first part I'm worried about is when your pump manufacturer can't get the materials or equipment they need to make more pumps because trucking is down due to, ironically, not being able to get pumps.I called my Ford dealer about an antifreeze leak in my 2015 truck, he said he couldn't get me in until the middle of the following week. I dropped the truck off on the day of my service, they took it in and called me later in the day to let me know it was the water pump. They didn't have 1, and checked across the country, and found only 2 available. They sourced 1, but it still took 4 days for the to receive it. needless to say I was without my truck for a couple of weeks. Not a big deal because I have another vehicle, but, it sure seems like I am hearing quite a bit of stories like this coming out!!

Ever since Dr Kathy retired the place has gone down the toilet. ( as a side note: Dr Kathy, at about 60 years old, is smoking hot. 5'3" or 4", 120lbs and rock solid, runs a could marathons a year, and absolutely brilliant)
