I volunteered to help Zeldin with his campaign, got a form email back and nothing. Wanted to help and they couldn’t be bothered. There’s no way he’s pulling this off. I wish, but they needed as much help as they could get and if this is how they ran their campaign then I can’t feel bad for them. We’re all the losers though when that tyrant bitch is re-elected

I offered to help the Onondaga County Republican party, no response.

Went to Zeldins GOTV rally in Syracuse today not a huge crowd, hard to compete with Bill’s games these days.

Really want the win for him!! Can’t trust any of the polls they are totally corrupt IMO. He was headed to Broome Co. next.

I posted right here where to go to help, did you two go? Honestly it was a bit over whelming trying to respond to all the requests. I was answering the phone as fast as I could on my shift Wednesday. EVERYONE who signed up to help from the rally last week was sent an email and was called by a live person. One issue I came across, people need to learn how to write neatly. Was hard to decipher phone numbers and email addresses.

You two can still help.... all day Monday at 1900 Ridge Rd and 3200 Elmwood, show up and they will put you to work!

When I went to the rally in Tonawanda, I filled in the sign in sheet and I spoke with a guy that was there. Told him I was off of work for a few weeks and would be willing to help if needed. He took my name, number and email and wrote that down on a separate note pad. Said he would reach out. I heard nothing, I call the EC GOP office and left, what I thought was a pretty detailed message. Never a call from either. My day tomorrow is pretty filled. Not going to be able to do anything Monday. No worries, he either has this as a win, or he does not. Maybe I should have reached out earlier. No worries.

Homeowner should sue him. He might have an in with the DA and avoid a criminal charge, but that won't help him in civil court.

Even if it's just small claims court, there needs to be a penalty for that sort of activity.

Make him come out and replace the sign himself LOL.

Make sure you take lots of pictures while he's doing it.

They will take the house, they then they need to take the senate and Biden is still president so they would need a veto proof majority and that won’t happen.

The best Zeldin can hope for is to be close. Even if he wins a close election the Democrats will find some misplaced ballots at the last minute. Of course, they will all be for Hochul the Horrible.
And the steal will happen, and the Governor by default will then be installed for a full term.
The Democrats have done this time and time again.

No way is NY going to be allowed to go to a Republican.

I hate to be "that guy" but I have no trust in the election process. For good reason. IMHO

They were already prepping people for this on the news this morning saying remember that republicans will likely come out and vote on Election Day and those will be counted first. Then they said the early votes will be counted later or during the Election Day counting and might show up in big dumps. I guess the moral is expect nothing good to come of any of this for us.
Also remember how republicans made it so voting is not fair we was going to exclude voters this year with their horrible racist laws only to have a record turnout across the country. Remember Georgia and how bad their law was? They have among the highest turnout.

Also with Michael Krocker just taking over a few weeks ago from Carl things are in a transition stage right now. Bad timing on that. Micheal will do a great job going forward. I will reach out to him and mention we need a better way of working with volunteers. Any ideas on that?

I was considering voting early, and I was about to post here that I had made up my mind that I was going to hold my nose and vote for Lee Zeldin, as much as I don't like or trust the man.

Then I just saw a new ad from Zeldin talking about threats to his family and his daughters and saying that on his first day in office he is going to 1. declare a crime emergency, 2. end cashless bail and 3. fire weak prosecutors.

Okay, so the governor has the power to fire "weak prosecutors" elected by their county. But we don't need more governors taking advantage of "emergencies" to suspend duly enacted laws. New York's "cashless bail" reform is a disaster, but the governor unilaterally changing the terms of pretrial detention on an emergency declaration is an act of tyranny. "Emergencies" like COVID-19, "January 6", "9/11" etc. are what put us in the situation we are in. The legislature made this mess and the legislature should fix it.

I'm still probably going to vote for him as the apparent lesser evil to Hochul, but this after his previous "ha-ha I can't, won't and wouldn't do anything about abortion in New York" ad really tells me all I need to know about the guy. 100,000 babies murdered a year in New York, and now no limits on their age while the taxpayers fund it and bring mothers in from across the country to kill their babies, and his hands are tied and there's nothing he could or would do about it. An uptick in crime centered in urban areas and he can purge DA offices, declare an emergency and suspend laws to put people in jail. Fuck this guy.
