This really is the story here IMO, all the red states solidly held on for the republicans despite the huge amount of effort the dems put in to try and flip them, Texas comes to mind in this case with Ted Cruz, while a lot of the states that were solidly blue for years flipped red or the democrats lost huge ground, the fact that Virginia was such a close call and that even NJ was almost put in the spotlight for a moment during the night says a lot.

It's been a while, but if anyone was wondering (unlikely), I remain above ground and fairly healthy for my admittedly ripe old age.
I AM EXTREMELY PLEASED TODAY. This country, and the entire world, has dodged a musket ball aimed straight at their hearts.
MAGA is not just Trump's job; we all need to work with him. And try like hell to trust him, and not fall into the Communist's Trap of second-guessing Trump every other minute.
This said, I pray the Commander-In-Chief of the GARBAGE BRIGADE has learned a lesson.
No more coddling the Left.
No more trying to work with them.
No more forgiving their actual crimes.
The Socialists must be prosecuted (not persecuted).
And with Elon Musk, RFK Jr, Vance, and many more, I believe we are looking at a powerful team.
The Lord has blessed us with a chance to return to a world of justice, peace, prosperity.
We must not waste it.
( And if there is any way to return Rudi Guliani, "America's Mayor", to the place of honor he deserves, it must be done. I, for one, firmly believe the Poll Workers he called out, are, in fact, Guilty of Election Fraud. There must be a fair investigation. )
