I wish Trump would have handled some parts of the debate differently, but I think he made the best of a shitty situation.
More people will look at coverage of the debate tomorrow than watched it tonight, so I'm interested to see how the talking heads cover it.

In retrospect I think Kamala had more to lose by doing poorly compared to Trump. Trump voters are still Trump voters and Kamala voters are still Kamala voters. I don't think they lost any of their base from a debate. Those unsure may lean more towards her as a result but I still think more people are fed up and know what she stands for. More people are hurting than ever before in recent memory. Don't forget RFK Jr's percentage too. After the emotions die down, Kamala is still Kamala and Trump is still Trump. It's easy to get caught up emotionally but IMHO ultimately inflation, migrant crime and loss of freedom will dictate where this country goes.
