People that make a living doing campaign management as well as the staffers look at election demographics: who did and didn't vote, how close were they, what were the issues that drew and deflected from both sides... it ALL makes difference even if We don't win.
Even if the candidate I'm supporting doesn't win or hasn't any chance of winning, my vote for him cancels the vote for his opponent.
It's a contractor operated call center that likely has numerous breaks, down time, 9~5 hours, and no say over the way things are done; you're name flags for any reason, good-bad-indifferent you're delayed or denied, your check come in just before Break, tough shit, we'll get to you when we get to you...don't like it? even tougher shit, take it up with the SP who aren't going to d a fucking thing besides sending you the reason why provided YOU supply the proper request within the limited time frame.

My brother got delayed on a box of steel shot at Bass Pro. He went over to an LGS and tried purchasing another box later that day and was approved after a half hour. The check for the box of ammo at Bass Pro came back day later. Figure that one out, especially since they use the same system. I have only done one check for a firearm and it was delayed a week.

The first problem, you are trying top make sense of it. I had to tell myself that many times in the last few years. This is a grab to make a database, clearly stated in the lgislation passed. For what purpose? We will find out soon enough. There is no need to get ammo to anyone at any time. We are f***** in this state. I cannot seem to get that point across to people that are still saying, "They can't do THAT!"

"They" now do whatever they want to do. Maybe they may not, But that doesn't mean they can not. Laws of the land and or the Constitution no longer apply or mean anything to CHochul, DC, and many of the more local government entities. I'm actually amazed at what they get away with. But hey, I'm a simple man who believes in law & order (usually) and right and wrong. The pace towards becoming a full on banana republic is picking up and not enough people see that.

The state will threaten law suits to all retailers just as they have retailers selling AR parts. Hochul has unlimited funds for law suits, retailers don't. It's worked in the past.

People have out of state permits and own property in free USA. Some hunt, camp and shoot out of state. Some have relatives living in the free world. NY AG is going to be pounding salt. Many will accept the challenge.

Call me crazy but there are a few things here that come to mind. Honestly it could be that they don’t want you buying ammo too close together or too much too quickly. Second thing that comes to mind is that they didn’t have time to get to the check and she just bought some so she was delayed. I don’t think anyone can tell you for sure.
