Any Kukri/Bolo guys here? Questions on this one I just got. Pics

Was out of an estate of a WW2 vet, and the son I purchased it from said "Dad brought it home". Thats all I got. No markings, no names. Looks very well made, and someone took some time on this. I guess I'm looking for the basics.. What country? What time frame?, etc..I Google-searched for about an hour and it made my head spin. Could find no definitive ID on it. I will say the fact that the butt of the handle doesnt flare out might be a clue, as most of these flare out. Who knows. It has very old patina/light rust that will come right off, but I hesitate to alter it before I know more about it. Would love to clean it up like new, but will wait on that. Handle appears to be horn. Any help here would be appreciated.

Looks to be phillipine? - May be wrong on that. - If you do face book, - 'Gurkha and Kukri Historical Group' - are probably the world authority on Gurkha and kukri - I would look for some info there.

Maybe the markings are tribal. Just a guess you could possibly search that way.

It doesn't appear to be on Cold Steel's website anymore. Amazon reviews are less than stellar. I was waiting for the "as seen on tv" logo to pop up on the video.
