There are rumors of a lot of Russian diplomats and military officials sending their families to Yamantau mountain.

I checked myself and some of the most watched flights on flight radar24 at least the ones that have transponders on and flight plans are leaving Moscow and/or going to airports near Yamantau.

It's a data point to keep in the back of your mind

Why would they use Nukes ?

With modern precision guided munitions the benefit of tactical nukes is not that significant.

Certainly not worth the political cost for a first use.

Giving them conventional Tomahawks would be enough for Ukraine to cripple Russia anyway.

They are throwing a fit about ATACMS with a 190 mile range. Tomahawks with 1500 would put Moscow in striking range.

Wouldn't take any magical weapon to defeat Russia, LOL.

Just some ordinary decent ones professionally operated.

Russia has proven in Ukriane to be a paper tiger.

They can't even defeat Ukraine. Poland alone could steamroller them, let alone one of the larger NATO members.

Absolutely this.

NATO is slow playing this. Every time Russia starts to make advances NATO allows Ukraine to use a technology or weapons system that was previously banned from doing so that was seen as a red line. One of these red lines will matter.

First it was javelins and stingers
Then it was patriots
Then it was tanks and APCs
Then it was Himars rockets
Then it was cruise missiles SCALP and storm
shadow
Then it was F16s
Now it's long range ATACMS
next is ____________


Every single system has a greater range, more lethality and more effective than the previous. NATO doesn't want Ukraine to win, they just want to drag this out into a stalemate as long as they possibly can hoping sooner or later they can let Russia exhaust itself in manpower and resources. The part
That really sucks is we are depleting our reserves which we need for a peer to peer threat with China.

Sooner or later Russia will tire of this and realize NATO will not let Russia win but will keep finding new ways to stall the conflict and drag it out to increase Russian losses. What Russia decides to do once they reach that decision is anyone's guess.

I absolutely think Russia is going to help the houthis attack ships and especially NATO ships in the red Sea. I also think they will help Iran to attack Israel to further weaken our stockpiles and resources they will open proxy fights against us just the same. Wouldn't surprise me if they aren't encouraging Nk to do some shit but would likely need china to green light it.

Honestly..... how different is that if north Korea decided to train Russian soldiers, and donated higher quality tanks, ammo, artillery, rocket launchers, fighter jets, missiles than Ukraine has, and in addition to donating all that equipment and munitions that they also physically were operating satellites, surveillance drones, intelligence planes as the experts in how the ISR targeting data worked and giving all the data to the Russians on how and where to hit Ukraine?

What's the difference if we are talking tactical button pushers or trigger pullers in a meat grinder. It's semantics.

Because in that scenario the US and NATO is doing exactly that. Don't kid yourself that NK is the first new country to enter the conflict. It's an open secret the UK has the SAS operating in Ukraine and I'm sure there are others as well. Ukraine has gladly welcomed foreign fighters to joing up their international legions.

I guess I don't. It's just being a wordsmith playing semantics. Western citizens are fighting Russians in Ukraine in one capacity or another already either in uniform or privately on their own choosing so to act like NK suddenly joining is an outrageous development. To be honest they're likely to get whole sale slaughtered and they need not die if this was was being dragged out in strategic attrition to try to bleed the other side dry.

Ok, let's change the scenario:
What happens tomorrow,
If the houthis kill US navy people by hitting one of our ships in the red Sea and sink it, with a missile provided to them by Russia, targeted or guided by a Russian intelligence assets like drones and satellites but a houthi guy pushes the launch button, who is responsible, the houthis the Russians all of them? Does it matter?

I just am being pragmatic and trying to think this through to its eventual conclusion. If the west has their way they will drag this out another decade and a million people will die. And the results will essentially end up the same. Or we can be pragmatic and say that we should be pursuing a peace agreement and establishing some sort of DMZ buffer zone between these 2 and hope the peace holds. I have a hard time getting behind another war to prop up the west global superiority and to keep the USD at the top of the pile. I have a son who is draft age eligible. I see where this shit is going to end up.

Pretty much what I've saying all along. Putin is a Tyrant, My sense of pragmatism doesn't allow me to side with a Hitler wannabe, starting with his annexation of the Crimea, or a little piece of Georgia, both belonging to sovereign states with agreed upon boundaries, just like his role models' annexation of the Sudetenland, then the whole of Czechoslovakia, And then and then, well, you probably know how that turned out. How would you like to be a Pole, or a citizen in one of the Baltic states. You can rationalize all you want but the tyrant is saying fuck you to the modern day Chamberlain's of the world. He did substitute Slav's for Ayran's though in his pep talks, so maybe thats more appealing to you.

This ICMB thing does not make sense. Why would they have conventional explosives on a ICBM? Why launch a ICBM with a measly 6 conventional warheads when they have a stockpile of intermediate range missiles? Everyone already knows they have ICBM so its not like a show of force.

1) Shows they are tired of fighting and would like to freeze the land grab, until the new U.S. gov (President Trump) gets in. Deal time. He can start again when the demonrats get back in. We did just show the U.S. people are not happy with the NWO.
2) Never hurts to keep teaching the new military how to use the weapons; they could have filled the rocket with propaganda leaflets and got the same result. That they are still a world power.
3) Having lowered the use of a nuke to, if and when I feel you (Ukraine/the west) have stepped over that red line too much, your all going to die. Opens Iran, China, NKorea, to get froggy. Not like our "allies" are much help.

It's a warning shot by ICBM. Also FUCKSNEWS interview didn't mention that long range missile attacks into Russia are by U.S military personnel in Ukraine. Anything Russians do at this point is justified by International Law.
