Have you guys ever seen a caliber called 300 blackout? The heavier bullets are longer than the case.

Yup. I only use the cheapest bullets available for 300 BLK. No sense in using expensive stuff on it. Hell this is my rule for pretty much all calibers. I'm not trying to win any competitions. If it shoots accurately enough and doesn't hurt the gun I'll use it.
