Liberty Trading Post (Ace Hardware) and Tractor Supply in Liberty, NY (both Sullivan County) have lawful concealed carry permit signs on their doors. Not sure it's all Ace hardwares and Tractor Supply stores or just those two.

Thanks for the info for Sullivan CTY. When I spoke to Tractor Supply in Onedia I asked them if corporate knew about Hochuls law. The manager told me she wasn't sure. I asked her if she would put up a sign. She told me she was going to ask corporate. I asked her how the other Tractor Supply stores in the area felt about Hochuls Law. She told me she didn't think they were happy about it. I then asked her if it was okay to drop her name as a reference for allowing carrying in her store when I talked to the other Tractor Supply stores. She said, "please do."

Harbor Freight reacted the same way when I questioned that manager about how the other stores in the area would feel about allowing us to carry. I am using her name also when I approach the other 3 Harbor Freights in the area. So in a nutshell, when getting a "yes" from that first store, if there are more of them in your area, it's best to ask about those stores and their likely hood of agreeing as well.

So I messed up today and forgot to restock my car with food so I had to grab lunch out again. I wasn’t happy so I went to the Chap’s Elba Diner and they had a sign up. The waitress came to grab my money and I thanked her for the new sign hanging on the door. She said what sign? So I replied the one that you’re supporting our second amendment rights. She said isn’t that something so I have her an extra dollar tip.
Even has the flag on the sign. Good food for a reasonable price too

Here's a few more for the Oneida County list: Runnings in Rome, Tractor Supply in Rome, and today I went to Nora's Candy Shop in Rome and she has several signs: front door, in the entryway, on the wall next to the counter, behind the counter, maybe even more that I missed. She also has a Sig decal on a window in the entryway. Update: Add Stan's Seafood in Rome to the Oneida County list.

There's a tractor supply in Hamburg that I'm sure I will be at sooner or later as spring approaches I will post my finding.


Adoring veterinarian pet clinic in Hamburg has a sign posted on the door they support 2a and right to carry if anyone is looking for a good and fair vet office for their floofers. They are 2a friendly and I've had very good experiences with their care. I think my pets get better care than I do at the Dr. office.

I've got about 15-20 pairs of Wigwam. I used to think they were the best also. That changed when I bought SmartWool socks, and also Darn Tough Vermont socks. Both are better than all my Wigwam's.

They are expensive, but worth it. The Darn Tough are actually guaranteed for LIFE. I've already used the guaranty for a pair that are over the calf (when I wear boots I need otc). After a few wears they didn't stay up otc. I exchanged them for a different style. No return shipping charge. No additional charge for the more expensive new pair. No shipping for the new pair.

The ONE PROBLEM with Darn Tough, they are definitely a liberal company. But so are so many others that we all deal with. At least they truly stand behind their claim of 'these are lifetime socks'. Check them out:

I have three pairs of Smartwool socks. I HATE them. I never wear them because I don't like them. Never tried the DarnTuff. Are they merino wool ? I can't wear cotton or nylon/ rayon.
