Car headrest safes?

Interesting for sure and I actually like the idea of it however it’s not very practical to draw from and very difficult to make this site unseen to secure the firearm. I like the idea but it’s not very practical IMO.

Meeh. The only way this could work is if it was a factory option IMO. "Universal 2 post mount"? Yeah ok, I am sure it fits every vehicle out there. Its certainly not going to match the interior color or the style of the other headrest. If they became popular its just a target for thieves to look for the weird headrest to get a quick pistol. The 16gauge door could be torn open in seconds with a screwdriver.
I'm a big guy so I run my seats all the way back. Most vehicles the side of the headrest is obscured by the B pillar of the vehicle in this position.

Novel idea, but there are way better ways.

If you put it on the passenger side with the door facing you it would be easier to access. And the sell a matching one without safe so they match.
Personally if I did this I’d want one on each side so my wife could grab hers

I simply use the Galco solution, and avoid the head rest. "Stop and frisk" is largely dead.

Might be one of the silliest things I've seen in a while. They are not head "rests" , they're head "restraints". They're not there for comfort, they're designed to mitigate whiplash in an accident. These are dangerous and a huge lawsuit waiting to happen.

This is a cool idea. I like it. Many places that you cannot bring a gun into, this would be quick and easy, basically secure place to put a handgun for when entering those places.

I could see this being a useful thing ☆IF☆ this was a service where you sent them the one from your vehicle and they retrofitted it. They would have to convert it so that it wasn't obvious it had been replaced. If that was the case, having a readily accessable hidden storage area might be a useful idea.

Just replacing the ones in your vehicle with new ones that don't look like they belong or weren't original seems dumb to me. If you're trying to be discreet, then look like you belong.
