custom fixed blades?

i love all weapons/tools, and have always somewhat collected knives. Typically not fancy ones or expensive ones, but I am looking to spend around $200 on a good knife, and currently looking at the Bradford Guardian 3. Any opinions on this one, or any others that are similar that you know of?

Just ordered this one, with a kydex sheath. Dlc coating, full flat grind, and carbon fiber scales.

Thats the plan. I do have some fixed blades Ive carried for edc but nothing great and nothing I liked carrying all thay much. Typically I just carry folders in my pocket, and a fixed in my backpack or jacket pocket. Warmer weather is coming and id like to be able to cc this thing, Ill report back once I have it.

I EDC a fixed blade because I got tired of folders wearing holes in my pockets. Plus they are more sturdy when cutting.

I carry this ESEE Esee Knives
with micarta grips in a Armatus Architect sheath. The Pull Dot Loop lets the sheath pivot on the belt and lie along the fold of the upper thigh and lower abdomen. This is comfortable and inconspicuous.

I’ve seen a few, not many, grown men walking around town shopping, and even in a bar, wearing full size, kind of fancy fixed blades knives with leather sheaths. These guys aren’t dressed like they are coming from the woods or doing manual labor. I don’t know what the law is, but I haven’t heard of any of them being hassled.

Recieved the guardian 3, and its sharp as hell, great looking, nice feel and light, but its a bit too small for my hands. Not that i have giant hands, although my glove size is xl. It seems it would conceal well enough on my belt for edc, but I am going to be looking to exchange it for the guardian 4.

I have an esee 5 and its a solid knife, too big for edc, but i carry it when out in the woods.

Got the guardian 4 and Im happy with the size. It feels great in the hand and doesnt feel too small like the guardian 3 did. The carbon fiber scales are smooth and i could see them being "slippery" if wet, but i knew they would be but i wanted smooth scales anyway. It feels a little big for concealed edc but Im going to run it for a while anyway to see.

Its made with CPM-3V steel and itcame razor sharp. The kydex sheath with small safelok was an extra $65 but I think its all worth it.
