No experience with that particular trigger but I have used several other brands. I found that one of the 3.5lb triggers wouldn’t reliably fire steel case ammo but worked fine for everything brass I gave it.
Be sure to get a set of anti-walk pins to replace the stock trigger and hammer pins. The drop in triggers don’t put enough pressure on the milspec pins and they fall out pretty easily.
Davidson Defense puts out some "cheap" stuff. I personally have no experience with them. But if they can't have a proof-reader correct spelling and grammar errors on their website, I keep moving.
For the price, you can get a proven reliable trigger. You can get a Rise Armament single stage drop in for the same price or less. A little more and you can get the Velocity.
For less, you can get a LaRue either single or two-stage.
I have a Velocity 3# in one of my Grendel's and have never had an issue with steel case. I had a Rise 3.5# in another and had no issues there either.
I bought the Rise Armament Rave 140. Went in without a hitch and seems to work fine, haven't done a live fire yet. I hope it holds up, for the price it has every bit as good a feel as those costing twice as much.
