I have long thought and stated my belief that anything posted online will eventually be cataloged with image reading software and make links a lot of people will not want. It's technically possible now. The only thing preventing it is time and the desire to roll out programs like the one mentioned in this link.

I don't post many pictures online in general anymore. Posted a picture of a roadkill buck on archerytalk (was a big deer and was said to be hit not far from my house) and a few years later I had a sheriff contact about the deer and a year later a prosecutor sent me a email saying they need me to come to Boston to testify in a hit and run case(dumb shit used the photo I posted and said he hit the deer and not a guy riding his bike) I didn't respond right away and the next day my fucking neighbor comes over to the house telling me to call the prosecutor and handed me his number, guess his daughter works with him or some shit.

Was a eye opener, so easy for them to track you down from just one picture on a hunting forum.

Anyways the dumb shit the killed the guy ended up taking a plea deal and I didn't have to drive to Boston to tell them a posted a photo x amount of years ago.
