Dragged off a bus for not wearing a mask. Legal?

No that's not whats going to happen. When I was union roofer , I was told I could not smoke on school property ,On the roof, during summer vacation. My foreman was a militant anti smoker . So when he told me to put the cigarette out because I was breaking the law, I told him to call the cops , Ill wait . Guess who never showed up? You think cops don't have better things to do than enforce nonsense rules ? Anyways agree or not, if you don't stand up for what you believe in , what kind of man are you? All your weapons are NYS compliant to, Ill bet. The other day at the store a guy told me I had to stand 6 feet away , I told him he better move if it bothered him, I was on camera , you know what happened? Nothing Ok. So fuck you and fuck your rules . Im not hiding from the boogy man . and Im not going to the fucking store in MOP level 4. Im not wearing a mask , im not social distancing Im not standing 6 feet behind people you are afraid of their shadows. Grow the fuck up already. Im not laying down for any of this shit. This fucking plague has been here two months and I haven't seen the thousands of dead they said it kill. 2 months!! Nothing.


And Im not going to spend my time and money either . Its not like its around the corner,give me a break man.

Everyone, almost everyone, likes to live in their little circles of power. This bus driver, his circle of power is his bus.

I am not, nor have I ever been a bus driver. Hell, I am not sure if I have ever ridden a public transport bus; I have no idea what the rules are. Not sure if the drivers are allowed to ad lib rules upon their assigned buses.

I would guess that when the Police were called, they were not called about a guy not wearing a mask. I am guessing, but I would guess that the driver called his dispatch and they called the police in regards to an out of control passenger.

The police showed up to escort the guy off the bus. The guy refused, the two sides escalated a situation that should have not occurred. Again, only guessing.

Society does have rules that need to be followed, that is one of the reasons why we are called civilized.

This is not really about bowing down to the man, this is about acting normal.


I will repeat.... All three (the driver, the passenger and the police) seemed to handle this poorly.

I understand, Im guessing that they didn't arrest him because #1 they know its bullshit . They could have arrested him for resisting , but like you said, We don't know for sure.

If you are going to compare your boss telling you to not smoke with being trespassed of a property, I have no further words for you regarding that. It’s beyond a joke that you cannot tell the difference.

And if you think that you can violate people’s space and their well being and health and get away with it all the time because you are such a tough guy and someone else bowed down to you, you haven’t met the right person. Because I can guarantee you that if some ignorant person like yourself put my wife’s life in jeopardy, that person would regret it.

I have seen that happen with people playing loud radios, panhandling, fare evasions, homeless taking up whole cars, big dogs on the train not in carriers, drinking, smoking, etc. The MTA actually has MTA police for this sole purpose on it’s railroads and the NYPD has a Transit Bureau for this sole purpose on the subways.

Most just leave without incident. A ticket at the most. But when they refuse to leave, they are physically removed. There are even undercover tasks forces assigned to this duty.

We, up in Buffalo have similar. The NFTA has their own Police department that duties are similar to what you posted.
