I love how CNN is making the Texas thing front-page while completely ignoring the never-ending attempts of NY to do the same thing. We've had our redistricting thrown out by courts twice now, IIRC, and now they're pushing to do it again.

She lost her attempt in the courts in 2023. It's likely she is just out there in the media campaigning using this Texas issue. She won her seat on TDS and she's hoping it gets her through. It likely will. Carney in Canada, a carpet bagger from the EU Netherlands came in after Trudeau and with the help of the CBC promoting TDS won the election. Never underestimate the power of stupid. It has no limit.

Democrats have short memories. The NYS redistricting was so bad a NYS appeals judge said no. Hard to find a more liberal judge and they had an issue with it so what’s that tell you. Lines are still wonky and most around WNY are somehow connected to Buffalo to capture those liberals in rural areas.
