M17 is the full sized P320, the M18 is the smaller or "officer" size.
Fallout or not, they shouldn't have been given immunity. If Sig handled the issue properly from jump they wouldn't have been facing this backlash. Instead, they deflected and blamed everyone and everything else.
I personally will never carry any of my P320s ever again.

Interesting how the pre voluntary upgrade sear didn't have the legs and there were no instances of UCD's. How stupid are the Sig engineers that they would add this leg to the post upgrade sears?
Some people have stated that removing the leg from the sear defeats part of the drop safety update where if dropped, the leg pushes up against the trigger bar and helps prevent the sear from disengaging on the drop. To me this comment makes me think that Sig addressed the drop safety issue but inadvertently and unknowingly caused the UCD issue by adding this sear leg.

Ferfuxake- put the CORRECT parts in your handgun and STOP POKING IT WITH A PICK and go shoot your gun. I like my 320 a lot. It’s a fantastic gun. It is extremely accurate, reliable, has never misfired, stovepiped, FTE, etc. My only complaint is not buying one sooner. So, let me know if you ladies are dumping your 320s. I have a little room left in the safe for dirt cheap scary guns.

There are so many videos, reports and independent studies about the P320 now only low IQ individuals or those that have for some reason invested an emotional stake into their purchasing decisions refuse to see the truth of the matter.
I had one, and RXP model what comes with the red dot. I sold it along with a Walther PPQ to fund the purchase of another pistol and it's related accessories. This being just prior to this whole issue began ramping up.
Go in YouTube and lookup Protraband and watch his extensive coverage of the P320 debacle. It was his videos that convinced me. It's not just the P320, that whole company has gone rotten, shoddy products, shady business practices and abuse of their employees. The CEO is the same guy that ran Kimber's reputation into the ground also. Then there is the matter of illegal arms deals and SIG fucking over.......,Singapore I belive, charging 3x the MSRP of P320s to their government on the promise that the pistols delivered to them underwent additional stringent QC even though they never actually did. SIG is making their living off fucking people over so I say fuck SIG. I'm positive SIG bribed the living shit out of someone to get those US military contracts through too.
On that note the MARINES themselves did their own investigation into the P320 due to numerous reports of SIGs discharging in their holsters and released a heavily redacted report stating that additional R&D would ve required to solve the issues with the design.
The P320s while design is fucked, who the fuck thought a sear floating atop a spring would ve a good idea?! In addition to poor design the P320 is even further hampered by poor quality parts manufactured in 3rd world countries on the cheap with inferior processes and inferior materials.
You should sell your P320 now while there is still even a little value as soon they won't be worth anything at all.
On top of all those points you made, the most damning part in this whole debacle is the way sig as a company has handled this mess.
Instead of seriously taking responsibility and looking to corrective measures or remedies, they instead blame their customers, blame holsters, blame that's it's a day that ends in Y, etc. It's everyone's fault except their design.
They then spend money that should be used to correct the problem on paying sponsorships and shills to go out and tout the virtues of the p320 and why it's the greatest the best and totally 100% safe, and spend additional resources on litigation efforts against police and gov agencies that prohibit their officers from carrying a p320 while on duty.
The p320 is the Boeing 737max. Try to significantly retrofit an existing design for increased profits, don't properly test it, then when it fails refuse to accept responsibility and blame everyone else.
