A bill proposed Tuesday by House Ways and Means Chairman Richard Neal, D-Mass., would make recent enhancements to the child tax credit permanent.

The best way to fully recover from this "pandemic" is to reopen and cut all unemployment benefits to those that are still choosing not to work. Even then, the economy has been screwed for probably the next ten years by the shutdowns in the first place.

As for the child tax credit, just let me keep the money that's taken out in taxes. THAT will do more in helping me raise my children than any payment the government loans me.

I paid for my college. Do I get restitution for my debt?
I don't have kids, can I get restitution for any "school taxes" I was forced to pay?
I don't have kids, can I get a waiver for having to pay for other people's kids?

IMO the democrats want you and I and others like us to be on the same level as this in poverty. Instead of expanding the middle class we will have two classes of people. The poor middle class and the wealthy elites.

With $15/hour and all these handouts they will have more spending and free capitol than some one making $137,000 as my wife and I do.
