Hunter Biden??!!??!! Initial reaction. Oh, some stupid FUDD shooting at sound or movement reality. The latter is tragic, stupid, and avoidable.

Obviously more news to come, but how often does this happen because some trigger happy fucking moron that shoots maybe twice a year was amped up in the woods and blasted "a noise."

Check the legal sunrise on the date, I did.....dead mans name has been released...............but no shooter identified.............use some logic here.

It still maybe a homicide by a young hunter, but liklely it is a self imposed accident.

Guns are not dangerous pe se, but all humans with a gun are...............darwins law.

Statistically, most gunshot shooters and victims are under age 30.

I was not in the woods hunting ST yet, as I want to live.

There you go..............may have been shot a hour before 7am and since he was dead, no sense calling it in befor daylight making companiions or other shooter hang...........after all he was dead already.

No young criminals use guns, poaching, tresspassing, jacking with lights, etc etc.

I tore down a deer stand on our farm on thursday,that an innocent accidently built.

Terrible situation. Looks like a small parcel 147 acres of state land. Montezuma Wildlife Management Area. I expect this crap down state here in places like Sterling forest in Orange county because its so close to NYC. Not up in the finger lakes area. I would think folks there are a bit more than once a year hunters. But its appears to be just 30 miles away from Syracuse so it could be the same situation. I stopped hunting areas within one hour of NYC during gun season. I had my fair share of near mishaps from the once a year hunter.

I had a similar close call pheasant hunting, I stopped pheasant hunting.
And stopped hunting with that person altogether.

I still hunt deer and coyotes though, but I don't put much time into it like I used to. I'm growing old, Thank God, because that almost didn't happen because of the asshole that didn't stay in his shooting sector. He was responsible for center/right and he swung left when a bird came up, right where I was... :mad:

Years ago here in the Alabama Swamps/Iroquois Wildlife Refuge area, a young man accidentally shot and killed himself while dragging his deer out of the woods. I'm not sure why he had a round chambered with the safety off and all that jazz while dragging a dead deer... :idk:

Either way, that saddened me when I was told about it. I didn't know him personally but I knew who he was. RIP dude.

I guess they're probably not so bad this time of year, but you'd get sucked dry before you got to your stand if it was summer.
