Well, im looking to purchase a 2nd handgun. I will like to purchase a 45mm from a NY shop or other gun shops that can FFL to NY shop offering "NO RIP OFF PRICES". Any suggestions on 45s?

Well last time a bought a cannon I went through Numrich Arms...

So it is .45 caliber. Or referred to as .45 ACP.

What I think you are asking... To answer your question. If you are ordering off a website most of them will ask your zip code during checkout so they can look through their list of FFLs that have agreed to accept shipments from the company. I would suggest before you order anything to check with you local gun shops BEFORE ordering a firearm to see if they will accept shipment from sites they do t so business with. Some just won’t. They would rather sell what they have.

As for this No Rip of Prices thing. You don’t get it right now. The distributors are pushing up prices and the manufacturers can’t keep up with demand. The big box stores just look at it as an opportunity to raise prices and make profit. Supply and demand.

Not sure what you’re looking to spend, but Rock Island Armory .45 is a kick ass gun for the money. Buds does a great job shipping them out.
But if buying used is something you’re looking for, check out your local range and ask around.

I enjoy shooting my Glock 21. I wouldn't recommend it to someone with small hands. It has a big grip.

I am a huge fan of anything 1911 as well as the Springfield XDS.

If you have a Glock already, there is a lot of advantage to getting a Glock 21 in .45 ACP so you are using the same type of gun. Your shooting skills will be improved by staying with one type of firearm.

I have a Taurus PT1911 in government length. (5” barrel) Absolutely great 1911 for the money. Got mine for around $600. Has ambi safety, skeletonized trigger and hammer, extended beaver tail, Novak style sights, steel frame and slide, has a fully supported chamber. This gun shoots every type of 45acp I have put thru it from cheap 230 gr steel cases ball ammo to 185gr hollow point self defense ammo. Also comes with two mec gar mags. Even has a pic rail for the mounting of a light. Taurus makes a commander model with about a 4” barrel and an officer model with about a 3” barrel. My Taurus PT1911 is at 2400 rounds and no problems, this thing has ran ammo that some higher end 1911’s wouldn’t. Highly recommend it.
