I purchased a VaultTek LifePod recently for this reason. I wanted something I could access faster than my combo dial small safe I have.

Now, the small combo safe is housing the keys to my big safe, and the VaultTek stays by the bedside with the Glock43 ready to go in case anyone tries some shit.

That being said, we haven't had any robberies around here due to the close proximity to the state police, and the fact there is only one access road in or out by vehicle, and where I live is in plain sight of other homes so it would be hard to conceal what you were doing.

Still, I'm glad I upgraded.

That headline is so damn ambiguous. If the intruder was the one shot, you can bet the headline would have been more like "Homeowner Shoots Youth". Why the ambiguity? Why not say that the intruder was the shooter and the homeowner lies in the hospital fighting for his life? This would be more like it, "Homeowner Shot By Intruder".

Doesn't fit the narrative......

That place in Blooming Grove is near me. It sits on top of a mountain. No paved roads. Cheap houses, meth, drugs, and robberies happen there often. When I was looking to buy my realtor told me to stay away from that place because of all the sex offenders they have there. She showed me all the red dots concentrated in the area. Not too long ago a guy shot his brother and killed him. Nothing but white trash in that place.

I moved to Monroe 44 years ago. It was the same trash heap back then. Something about leopards and spots

Town Police said a man broke into the residence around 5:45 a.m. a masked man broke into the home and demanded belongings and when the victim went to grab the suspect, the intruder shot the victim at least one time in the abdomen.

The shooter has not been located and police ask anyone with information to call Blooming Grove Police

why the fuck are they asking for help .. no one was fucking there but the shooter and the victim .. WTF

Maybe on the off chance the shooter bragged to his homies about what he did, or tried to recruit some before he did it?
Maybe on the off chance someone saw a masked man (like there aren't a million of them all over now) heading up to that house before the incident, or running away after?

Or just saw someone moving about during that timeframe. The houses there are probably no more than 15' apart. The description of cluster housing doesn't do that area justice.
