Or perhaps a flood, gas leakage, fire, hurricane, ect in an area near a church or in the church itself despite church goers still wanting to go. Hell, you would keep me from going inside a 7-Eleven if I owned it and there was a mold hazard that got shut down by the health department or a church that was structurally unsound.

I am legally allowed in NY to use force, even lethal force to stop certain crimes, even if there is no one in jeopardy.

While I would not recommend it, a rioter lighting my garden shed on fire would be legally fair game (arson). Even if I take the shot from 100 yards away from my upstairs window with my doors locked and my whole family inside.

I not sure about that. (I don't want to test it to find out either). I honestly don't know either way.

The reason that was explained to me is every fire call puts firefighters lives in danger rushing to the call and fighting the fire they are at risk. Firefighters may not know whether a building is occupied or vacant and may put themselves in danger to search it.

Not sure if that's true but that was explained to me. But again, I wouldn't want to be on trial for that...

Most areas aren’t infected at all to be a danger to anything. And the 5 or so infections maybe even 25 ( Arbitrary number for the sake of discussion) are not numbers that require closures at all because for the most part, people aren’t packed into subway cars like sardines spreading it to hundreds and then thousands in Schenectady New York for example. They travel in cars not infecting anyone and for the most part, those that are infected stay home or wear a mask to prevent others from getting infected if they leave home to get groceries.

As far as to what number for closures? I do not have the specific number answer to that. I’m not an expert. But what I do know is that at some point, numbers become too much to allow massive congregations in football stadiums, churches, ect. Common sense says that when hospital beds start running out, it’s too late. So what is that number? The smart answer would be when infection rates start steadily rising rapidly.

Look. There is no reason to shut down NYC when the infection rate if high only in China. And similarly, there is no reason to shut down Buffalo when the infection is only high in NYC. And similarity as well there is no reason for a hospital worker to wear a mask in his own home.

But what is happening here is that people are bullshitting themselves with false facts to justify their anger. Yes. The government went too far. Yes they are taking advantage of the situation. But the BS spewed here about masks not capturing droplets to be inhaled by others is nonsense.

Regarding constitutionality, temporary closures and congregations aren’t constitutional infringements. If they were permanent or closed too long for no reason, they would be. Closing a printing press because there is a gas leak in the building is not a constitutional infringement. Closing it permanently despite the gas leak being fixed is. Big difference.

Taking someone’s gun away because he shot someone isn’t a constitutional infringement. But once he was acquitted of murder, and continuing to hold his guns is.

Stopping me from praying to god when a police investigation is happening in my church or home is not a constitutional infringement. Stopping me permanently even after the investigation is resolved is.

I hope you can see the difference. I’m not arguing just to argue. I just hate when incorrect facts are pushed to further an agenda. That’s what the left does with guns, immigration, and any other thing they are against. And we do the same.
