While I don't have a dog directly involved in this fight I'm against the bill. I believe it would be better if we made a mandatory extra 10 years for committing a felony while wearing body armor.

Not surprising. The memo and the bill it's attached to are very different. The memo says the bill is to do one thing, and the wording of the bill is very different and does something else entirety.

I remember being at one of the Albany 2A rallies when the Moms Demand Action group was inside one of the buldings. They were being interviewed by the press as being "against gun violence." I remarked to one of the others at the rally, "Why doesn't the press come out here and interview the 2A supporters? We're ALL against gun violence. That's why we support the 2A.
