I have said this before ... If one has a gun that they have desired to own .. Get it soon. They will make that California gun roster seem like a wet dream... This will apply to any firearm sold in NY. The only trouble is certain guns one cannot find. I just ran across a Ruger Redhawk .44 mag for sale. I have never fired a .44 mag however a friend said that it is punishing...I in years past had a severe accident to my shooting hand .... 10 years from now will I even be able to shoot a .44 mag. ... Looked for a 357 online ... Out of stock is what I get everywhere..

44 special is code for 44mag short. A GF of my son, wanted to shoot my 629, she weighs maybe 90 pounds and has to wear skies in the shower to keep from getting washed down the drain. I was skeptical, but she insisted, so I stood behind her, no issue all, shooting 6 rounds of my 44mag "hot" loads, she then proceeded to shoot another 20 rounds of 44special.
