Not surprised at all. Dropping the speed limit to 20mph serves as a political win for those that named the law after a child who was killed, great election material and of course speed cameras which brings in a tremendous amount to revenue and one camera pays for itself in one month in some locations. This is the new surveillance state. The cameras and tracking devices are everywhere and have been for many years now. Just open your eyes. It has nothing to do with capitalism, communism or whatever "ism", its just humans controlling humans. That has been going on since the beginning of our time.
