I travel often with fire arms, NEVER thru JFK or Laguardia, I put my guns in a Plastic kimber box and then use a cable looped thru the telescopic handel on the suit case thru the liner. The cable is perminant in my suit case I just put a lock thru the loop , I know they can cut the cable, Destroy the suit case. But its an extra step they would have to do. I am going to look into an apple tracker to see if that a posibility to put in my gun case
