The Sharon Hill Borough Council voted 6-1 to fire the three officers who have charged in the 2021 killing.
The gun fighting gang bangers that started the shooting are getting off light in comparison to the responding LEOs.
The high charges are a chilling effect for law enforcement. Accountability is one thing but the pendulum swing to encourage crime and discourage law & order disrupts society just like Soros wants.

From other sources (all citing DA office press releases), it is not certain but likely the fatal shot came from one of the service revolvers.
That's what I assumed but strange it was not definitively cited as a justification for the termination. I wonder exactly what is the "official" policy when officers respond to a cross fire by two rival groups in a crowd? I understand the desire not to have any more accidental shootings but what are the cops supposed to do - just let the gang bangers shoot it out until they run out of ammo and flee? I don't think there is any good solution here.

Seldom a "good" solution for something like this, but in general the solution with fewer dead innocent bystanders is the superior one.
So, if that's what it takes to reduce the innocent body count, then that's what you do.
And how were the cops to know the gang bangers wouldn't hit anyone? No good solution.

Step one, don't make things worse.
If there is a problem with gunfire in a crowded area, do not try to solve it by adding more gunfire.
This is the problem with a lot of modern policing. They have lost their versatility. When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
I do not know of this case to give an honest opinion.
Situations like this are tough. Again, not enough details are known by me.
I do know this though, if it were not for the human vermin that turned a game into a shooting arena, this would not have occurred.
Maybe the time is finally here for the people of the US to man the fuck up and have a real and honest conversation about the cancer that surrounds us.

Why would anybody want to become a cop now a day? No matter what they do it's wrong.

This is exactly my thought as well.
Mistakes may have been made by coos in response, its easy to Monday morning quarterback. But if people act like civilized human beings, none of this would have occurred.
