Mine starts with newest post, must be something you`re doing on your end. Maybe check your "preferences" within your account?

Depending on your settings, generally in a many page thread you're going to be brought to the last page you've viewed. The newest post you haven't seen. I believe this is maintained via cookies though , so if your cookies have been cleared it's going to go back to page one when you open it again.
