Someone should tell Alex that EVERYBODY is ready for what comes next.
Unfortunately everybody also realizes that NOTHING is going to come next.
At best: a few people get to resign and live their lives out naturally (unlike all the people who died due to these criminal's malfeasance).
At worst: this whole thing disappears into the ether when the NEXT BIG INVESTIGATION is announced.
either way... not a single corrupt criminal will face punishment for their crimes.
