Yes, there is a resolution that was passed for my County. It places the County on the list. So you see the Counties on the list and
get all warm and fuzzy because your County is standing tall against the Safe Act. In my County the resolution is to not allow the State to place the County seal on any documents associated with the Safe Act. Whoopee Dooo. Nothing there about not enforcing the Safe Act or not prosecuting for violation of the Safe Act. In all practicality for the firearms enthusiast it accomplishes nothing.

No one can force people to comply. The risk is minimal and prosecutions on stand alone charges are vey few, if any. Liberals change the system from the bottom up and they are very effective. Conservatives are cowardly, scared of any risks and ineffective.

I have been talking with many cops many hey what is going on and many are very progun. We will see when the time comes. IMO this is why BLM and the politicians are shitting on the cops so bad because they want who they want in not real cops.

I never understood the wisdom of scaring people into compliance. That's antiguners and media's job. Why help them? With minimal precautions you can shoot none compliant guns at most ranges. There are no SAFE act patrols. Their main goal was to stop sales in NYS, they knew compliance is not going to happen.

Traffic stop is not going to lead to a vehicle search if one uses common sense and basic precautions. It's not all that hard to avoid it all together. Bad traffic accident would be a bigger concern, but at that point one will have a bigger problem to deal with, if he survives.

BTW, Even if all of your gun related contents are kosher, you would still be wise to exercise the same common sense and basic precautions while traveling with firearms. Cops are not the only reason.

Look up arrest records in these cities, towns and County's since they signed this pact; this pact of non-compliance.

Nearly the exact same arrests as before they signed onto it. Here in Erie County, gun arrests are up, both in the towns/cities as well as the County as a whole.

They are no more emboldened now than back in 2013, they just don't care because there is no opposing force to stop them. There was not in '13 and there are no forces now.
